20. He further submitted that even if the alleged incident is taken into
consideration, it did not satisfy the ingredients of Section 306 IPC. He relied on
the judgment of the Hon'ble Supreme Court in the case of Geeta vs. State of
Karnataka (2025 INSC 1089, Criminal Appeal No.1044 of 2018), wherein it is
held that "those words are casual nature which are often employed in the
heat of the moment between quarrelling people. Nothing serious is
expected to follow thereafter. The said act does not reflect the requisite
mens rea on the assumption that these words would be carried out in all
events."
