46. The judgment in Associate Builders (supra) examined each of the
heads set out in Renusagar Power Co. Ltd. v. General Electric
Co., 1994 Supp (1) SCC 644, together with the addition of the
fourth head of "patent illegality" laid down in ONGC Ltd. v. Saw
Pipes Ltd., (2003) 5 SCC 705. Since we are concerned with the

16. Having heard learned senior advocates appearing for the
respective sides and having gone through the material on
record placed before us, before dealing with rival contentions,
the Court is mindful of proposition of law laid down by Hon'ble
Apex Court on the issue of scope of Section 37 of the Act of
1996 while examining the award passed by learned Arbitrator
as well as order passed under Section 34 of the Act.
