33. Before concluding this judgment, I consider it appropriate to quote the following observation of the Supreme Court in Poonam Verma v. Ashwin Patel, (1996) 4 SCC 332:

In Dr.Mukhtar Chand case cited supra, counsel for those qualified in the integrated course also made submissions that right to practice a system of medicine is derived from the Act under which a medical practitioner is registered and right which the holders of a degree in integrated courses of Indian medicine were claiming was to have their prescription of allopathic medicine honoured by a pharmacist or a chemist under the Pharmacy Act and the Drugs Act. The Supreme Court rejected the said argument and observed thus :-
