28. Further, the testimony of PW2 is not corroborated by her
mother PW1. PW2 deposed that she had made a call to her mother at the
instance of accused and told her mother that she was OK and thereafter,
accused and his brother-in-law had taken the phone from her. But PW1 in

her deposition nowhere alleged that her daughter had made any call to her
either on January 1, 2013 or on January 2, 2013. Rather, she deposed that
her daughter reached the police station to her own on January 5, 2013.
Thereafter, police official informed her. Had PW2 made a call to her mother
as deposed by her, her mother would have informed the police immediately
but it was not so. This further creates a doubt at the testimony of PW2.
