R. Dilip Kumar vs S. Ramu on 19 June, 1992
In R. Dalip Kumar v. S. Ramu XI 1992 (3) Current Civil Cases 613, Karnataka High Court has held that : "no presumption that any particular property held by a member of a joint family is the property of the undivided Hindu Joint Family. Property standing in the name of the respondent since the time of its purchase in 1979. No material produced to prove that the property was purchased for the benefit of the co-parceners in the family."
