Learned counsel further states that in view of the Apex Court judgment in Asian
Resurfacing of Road Agency Pvt. Ltd., Vs. Central bureau of Investigation (in Criminal
Appeal No. 1375 and 1376 of 2018, dated 28-03-2018) to the effect that "in all pending cases
where stay against proceedings of Civil/criminal trial is operating, the same will co le to an
end on expiry of six months from the date of order unless in an exceptional cases by a
speaking order such stay is extended". The court below is insisting for filing fresh order of
_ extension of stay.
