SHARAVVA & ORS reported in III (2002) CPJ
269 (NC) has held that there is deficiency in service in laying power lines loose, hung
very low, precariously connected to poles on either side and death due to
electrocution and therefore the electricity Board liable to pay compensation
with interest.
