Petitioners have approached this Court, praying for issuance of
a writ of mandamus directing the respondents to grant them benefit of
stepping up of their pay at par with their juniors in accordance with letters
dated 27.11.2006, 5.3.2009 and 23.11.2009 (Annexures P-3, P-6 and P-13
respectively). Reliance has also been placed upon the judgements passed by
this Court in Civil Writ Petition No.5956 of 2008 (Charan Dass Vs. State
of Haryana), decided on 18.11.2008 and Civil Writ Petition No.21607 of
2010 (Madan Lal Jindal Vs. State of Haryana and others), decided on
24.9.2012. The petitioners have also prayed for consequential benefits.
