All in all, it must now be taken that the famous judgment of Atkin, L.J., in R. v. Electricity Commissioners [1924] 1 K.B. 171, cannot be fully applied to our Constitution and the above-quoted decisions which have merely followed that judgment can no longer be taken as laying down a correct law.
