12.The Hon'ble Supreme Court in the Judgment reported in
(2008) 4 Supreme Court Cases 530 [Thiruvengadam Pillai v.
Navaneethammal and another] has stated that where the agreement of
sale is denied by the defendant it is for the plaintiff to prove that the
defendants had executed the agreement and it is not for the first
defendant to prove the negative.
