15.Although, there is merit in the contention of the ld. Addl. PP for the
State that in view of the said authority i.e. Khujji vs State of M.P.
(supra) since the witness has turned hostile in the cross examination,
which was conducted after about 7 months of the initial examination,
the court can discard the cross examination and rely on the
examination in chief of the witness. But, in my view the testimony of
this witness is not reliable and has rightly argued by ld. Counsel for
the defence that he appears to be planted witness.
