15. The learned Advocate for the appellant has referred to the Division Bench decision of this Court in Panchu Gopal v. State in support of his submission that since the alleged statement of Sambhu to the police leading to recovery of the skeleton by digging earth was not recorded in writing, the same is not admissible under Section 27 of the Evidence Act.
