Considering the monthly income of the deceased @ Rs.7,700/- per month and as per the principle laid down in the case of National Insurance Company Ltd. vs. Pranay Sethi & ors (2017) 16 SCC 680, 25% of the assessed income is to be added towards future prospect, which comes to Rs.9,625/- (Nine thousand six hundred twenty five). 1/3rd is to be deducted towards personal expenses of the deceased, which comes to Rs.6,417/-. Thus, yearly income will comes to Rs.77,004/- and thereafter multiplier of 15 will be applied for the purpose of computation of amount towards loss of dependency, which comes to Rs.11,55,060/- (Eleven lakhs fifty five thousand sixty).
