46) We are therefore of the view that, the Passport Authority while
considering the suggestions of this Court, should also keep in mind the
observations of the Hon'ble Supreme Court in the case of Satish Verma Vs.
Union of India (Supra), Maneka Gandhi V/s Union of India (Supra)and
Mahesh Kumar Agrawal Vs. Union of India (Supra). The Authorities are
bound to follow the law as laid down by the Hon'ble Supreme Court in
letter and spirit.
