In that case, the Hon'ble Supreme Court referred to the judgement in Ajay Agarwal's case cited supra. The Hon'ble Supreme Court did not find fault with the order of the learned Magistrate taking cognizance because some offences were committed on Indian soil. The Hon'ble Supreme Court, therefore, held that so far as the offences committed in India were concerned, the trial court could proceed with the trial.
