Tiwari v. State of Maharashtra" reported in (2010) 1 SCC 775
has held that it is not the nature of the crime but the background
of the criminal, his psychology, his social condition and his mind
set for committing the offence are also relevant. Hon'ble
Supreme Court in the honour killing case where there is an inter-
caste marriage converted the death sentence of the accused into
life imprisonment.
