At the outset, counsel for the petitioner has submitted that he
has already sent a notice of demand dated 17.2.2020 (Annexure P-11) in this
regard to the respondents but no action has been taken by the respondents.
He will be satisfied if necessary direction is given to respondents No.2 and
3 to dispose of his aforesaid legal notice in accordance with law in a time
bound manner in the light of judgment of the Coordinate Bench of this
Court passed in CWP-10808-2007 (O&M) titled Paul Singh v. Punjab
State Electricity Board through its Secretary and others decided on
24.1.2012 (Annexure P8).
