here that in a decision rendered by the Hon'ble
Supreme Court in Criminal Appeal No. 668 of 2020
titled as "Amit Singh Moni Vs. State of Himachal
12.10.2020,
Pradesh, decided on 12.10.2020 , the bail has been
granted to the accused after he had undergone
incarceration for a period of about 2 years and 7
months and particularly when the trial was not
progressing. Even in the instant case, the
petitioner is in custody for a period of more
than 3 years and 3 months, not involved in any
other case and furthermore, only 5, out of 23
witnesses have been examined so far.
