In view the above decisions in Rupali Devi vs. State of Uttar
Pradesh & Ors. (Supra) and Dr. Baljeet Singh vs. State, NCT of
Delhi & Arn. (Supra), I am of the considered view that the Courts
CR 422/2018 State & Anr. Vs Ashish Kawatra Page No.6/8
at Delhi have the necessary territorial jurisdiction to try and
entertain the instant case. Accordingly, the revision petition is
hereby allowed and the order dated 21.08.2013 passed by learned
MMÂ01 (Mahila Court), Dwarka Courts is set aside. The
accused/respondent is directed to face trial before the Trial Court
as per law.
