Vishwanath Sood vs Union Of India & Anr on 24 January, 1989
In the objection petition, the respondent relying upon the decision of the Supreme Court in Viswanath Sood v. Union of India , the levy of compensation was within the authority of the respondent and as per the provisions of the contract, such levy of compensation by the respondent was made final and, therefore, the arbitrator cannot interfere with the decision of the respondent and therefore, the award is liable to be set aside.
