The Hon'ble Supreme Court of India in the case of Jaisri Sahu vs.
Rajdewan Dubey and Others reported at AIR 1962 SC 83 held that when a
widow succeeds as heir to her husbands the ownership in the properties both
legal and beneficial vests in her. In paragraph 4 of the said judgment the
Hon'ble Supreme Court of India held thus:-

Gogula Gurumurthy & Ors vs Kurimeti Ayyappa on 14 March, 1974
The Hon'ble Supreme Court of India in the case of Gogula Gurumurthy v.
Kurimeti Ayyappa, (1975) 4 SCC 485 held that no one has any vested interest in
