20.In Mohammed Gazi vs. State of M.P. - (2000) 4 SCC 342, the Supreme
Court pointed out that the maximum "actus curiae neminem gravabit" is founded
upon justice and good conscience. The Supreme Court also noted that the
applicability of this maxim has been approved by the Supreme Court for a long
time.
