28. As regards the rate of interest, the Court below has awarded 6 per cent, or the nadappu rate whichever is less. Mr. Bhashyam contends that it is not obligatory on the Court to award 6 per cent. interest in a case not directly governed by Section 37 of the Partnership Act.
