Micheal Raj (Supra) has dealt with heroin i.e., Diacetylmorphine which is an "Opium Derivative" within the meaning of the term as defined in Section 2(xvi) of the NDPS Act and therefore, a 'manufactured drug' within the meaning of Section 2(xi)(a) of the NDPS Act. As such the ratio of the said judgment is not relevant to the adjudication of the present case."
