Arnesh Kumar vs State Of Bihar & Anr on 2 July, 2014
Learned counsel for the petitioners submit that petitioners 1
and 3 have been allegedly arrested from Dehradun, Uttarakhand,
where the police authorities have organised press conference and
also published handcuffing photos of petitioner No.1. It is further
submitted that despite the dictum given by Hon'ble Apex Court in
the matter of Arnesh Kumar Vs. State of Bihar reported in (2014)
8 SCC 273, the petitioner has been handcuffed by the police,
thereby the authorities have violated the fundamental and human
rights of the petitioner.
