respect of exotic animals. The case of Anil Chanana (supra) is
ex-facie distinguishable on facts where the Applicant had failed to
account for his possession of diamond ear-rings and took self -
contradictory steps, as narrated in the judgment . Here, no
exotic animals have been recovered from the possession of the
Petitioner. The learned counsel for the Petitioner has
categorically stated that the Petitioner is not even claiming the
seized ani9mals.
