In this context, the learned Additional Solicitor General appearing for the appellants relied on the decision of the Honourable Supreme Court in the case of (Union of India vs. K.V. Lakshmanan and others) reported in 2016 (4) CTC 533 to contend that the e-mail dated 06.04.2010 sent by the respondent is a document which will be helpful to determine the real controversy in the case and therefore, the learned Additional Solicitor would pray for allowing CMP No. 1470 of 2018 and to set aside the order of the Tribunal.
