Commodities Act 1955 defines an "essential commodity" to
mean "cattle fodder including oilcakes and other
concentrates ... essential commodity, are
sub-clauses (i) and (v). Sub-clause (i) of section 2(a)
defines an `essential commodity' to mean "cattle fodder
commodity essential to the community or in
respect of a commodity, which is an essential commodity, as
defined in the Essential Commodities ... essential commodities as defined under the

the phrase 'Scheduled Commodities' means any commodity
