commodity essential to the community or in
respect of a commodity, which is an essential commodity, as
defined in the Essential Commodities ... essential commodities as defined under the
Essential Commodities Act, 1955 . As per Sub-Clause (s) thereof,
the phrase 'Scheduled Commodities' means any commodity
affixed to, or appearing upon any pre-
packaged commodity;

(1) No person shall manufacture, pack, sell, import, distribute,
deliver, offer, expose or possess for sale any pre-packaged commodity
unless such package ... defines the term 'pre-packaged

present, is placed in a package of whatever
appearing upon any pre-
packaged commodity;
