currency notes of Rs.1,000/- denomination each and 38 currency notes of
Rs.500/- denomination each. The counterfeit currency notes and the
aforesaid cash ... that the accused were
collecting counterfeit currency notes from Munir of Bihar State and for
purchasing the currency notes, the Respondents were depositing money
that
they were aware that notes with them were counterfeit notes.
It means that they have received counterfeit notes for the
distribution or sale ... Counterfeiting currency-notes or bank-notes.--
Whoever counterfeits, or knowingly performs any part of
the process of counterfeiting, any currency-note or bank-
note, shall

Rs.500/- denomination. The Report at Exhibit 40 issued by
Currency Notes Press, Nasik, establish the fact that the currency
notes were ... currency
notes, each of Rs.500/- denomination, came to be seized vide
Panchnama Exhibit 32. These currency notes along with 400
other currency notes which
officers from the
RBI examined the seized currency notes, and they opined that the said
notes were counterfeit. Accordingly, panchnamas were recorded.
6) Investigation transpired ... currency notes by the
RBI officers under Panchanama (Exh.P22). In the opinion of the
officers of RBI, the seized currency notes were counterfeit
alleged
