first examined
whether the Opposite Parties are covered under the definition of 'enterprise' in
terms of section 2(h) of the Act before ... therefore, are not covered within the definition of enterprise. As per the DG
report, the nature of activities performed by the Opposite Party
fall within the purview of the definition of an „enterprise‟ under
section 2(h) of the Act.
10. The investigation and analysis was carried ... profit society and is not covered under the definition of „enterprise‟,
to be liable under the provisions of the Act. It was submitted that
said definition was
couched in wide terms. He submitted that a plain reading of the
definition indicates that an enterprise could be a person ... profit organization, would also fall within the definition of

II(vi) In the matter of Arun Anandagiri
stage, it would be pertinent to have a look at the definition of enterprise

enterprise within the meaning of Section 2(h) of

necessary that an enterprise be directly engaged in production of goods and
an enterprise engaged
