absorbed comparatively little of the estate. He indicated that the trusts should devolve upon his heirs, and after making other provisions to which reference ... except with regard to the legacies; (ii) the residue of the estate devolved upon his heirs according to his personal law; (iii) the testator
heritable interest of the heirs of
the statutory tenant would devolve on all the heirs of the
'so called statutory tenant ... business which is a valuable
heritable right and which must necessarily devolve on all
the heirs in accordance with law. The absence of any
provision
heir qualified to succeed to
his or her property. The property shall devolve on the
Government and the Government shall take the property sub-
ject ... Section 15 emphasises that
the property of the intestate shall not devolve upon the
heirs referred to in sub-section (1) in the order specified
lived on the date on
which she claimed partition. The interest devolving upon
the widow need not necessarily be either by survivorship or
by inheritance ... enjoyed by the
plaintiff and further the properties allotted to Pulla Rao
devolved upon him after Pulla Rao's death. Lastly,
according
Dhanora Zamindari was impartible and on the
death of the holder it devolved upon his eldest son and in
the absence of a legitimate ... adopted son it devolved
upon the nearest male relative. The succession to the
Zamindari was subject to the power of the Governor to
dispossess
cannot be executed against the person in whom the interest has
devolved.
As against this, learned counsel for the respondent submitted
that the judgment ... against the person to or upon whom such interest has
come or devolved."
Order XXII provides the procedure for bringing the legal
representatives
State Government so desires. This is necessary because the interest liability devolving on the State Electricity Boards makes it difficult for them to present
