demand of dowry. It was also alleged that accused
Ashok Dogra, Tara Chand and Smt. Shakuntala were entrusted with
the dowry articles. On the complaint ... complainant came to her parental house and threw the dowry
articles there and went away. The jewellery which the complainant
was wearing was taken away

started harassing his daughter for bringing insufficient dowry.
They started demanding dowry articles from PW1 and his daughter.
After marriage, accused Ashok ... visits

16. After
complainant lodged the FIR in
question alleging that in the marriage dowry articles worth Rs. 5 lacs
were given to complainant's husband ... laws were not
satisfied with the dowry articles. After a few days, they demanded Rs.
1 lacs from her and when she refused
sister-in-law of the complainant started taunting
her for the dowry articles. The complainant told about the same to her
