June, 2007 introduced the guidelines on Corporate Governance
for CPSEs. These guidelines were voluntary in nature. These
guidelines were implemented for an experimental period ... DPE guidelines in May,
2010. These guidelines have been made mandatory and
applicable to all CPSEs. The guidelines issued by DPE covered
areas like composition
guidelines of 25.06.1999. To that extent, Para 2 of the
DPE guidelines on pay revision vide O.M. dated
25.06.1999 needs to be suitably amended ... concurrence of DPE
