The petitioner, aggrieved against the promotion of his juniors
in the pay scale of Draftsman, approached this Court ... that
the petitioner's juniors were promoted in the pay scale of Draftsman as
they had obtained necessary qualification by passing the diploma,

post of Draftsman has been redesignated as Assistant
Draftsman and State level post of Draftsman has been designated as
Draftsman with pay-scale ... correct pay-scale was granted to him.
Hence, the claim of the petitioner for the pay-scale of Draftsman is not
tenable. The respondents have
pay revision, the
scale of pay of all these posts were the same. Therefore, there is no
reason to deny the scale of pay applicable ... ground that as per the 1992 Pay Revision, the scale of pay fixed for
Draftsman Grade I is Rs. 1640-2900 and therefore the petitioner
scale of pay of Rs.1640 - 2900.
The third respondent proceeded on the footing that scale of
pay of Draftsman Gr.I was also revised ... promotion as Assistant Lecturer is granted that scale of pay.

Lecturer
