stood, certifying that the petitioner belonged to the Halba, Scheduled Tribe
community.
2. Pursuant to the impugned order dated ... certifying that
the father of the petitioner belonged to the Halba community which falls in
the Scheduled Tribe category. The said certificate was again issued
counsel for the parties.
2. The petitioner claims to belong to 'Halba' Scheduled Tribe. On the
basis of such claim the petitioner came ... after verifying the same, it was found that the entry 'Halba' was
appearing therein. The relevant records having been brought by the Head
which the caste claim of the petitioner of being to
the Halba scheduled Tribe has been turned down (pg 103).
4. Mr Parsodkar, learned Counsel ... father of the petitioner namely Sakaharam (Pg 42) indicates the caste as Halba
and is of year 1979. The father of Sakharam is Budha
Scrutiny Committee invalidating the petitioner's
claim of belonging to 'Halba' Scheduled Tribe.
3. The petitioner claims that he and his forefathers ... belong to 'Halba'
Scheduled Tribe. On the strength of the tribe certificate dated 29.06.1987
the petitioner sought to substantiate his claim in that
projected by the petitioner, are that the
petitioner genuinely belongs to "Halba" Tribe which is a Scheduled
Tribe. It is pertinent to mention ... here that "Halba"/"Halbi" is a
Scheduled Tribe of the State of Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra
and Chhattisgarh. The Halba Tribe, which
passed by the
Scrutiny Committee, Gadchiroli whereby her caste claim of Halba
Scheduled Tribe has been invalidated.
4. The petitioner was appointed as an Assistant ... been clearly observed that
father of the petitioner is recorded as Halba in 1946, however, a person
who is not connected namely Tulshiram is shown
