increments in the scales of pay admissible to them.
ii) The increment now sanctioned shall be granted in addition to their
normal annual increments ... Teaching English shall be granted one incentive
increment (i.e.,) two advance increments.
(ii) This incentive increment shall be given only to those who possess
Teachers who possess
higher Qualification like one incentive increment
(i.e.,) two advance increments.
(ii) The Incentive Increment shall be given only
to those ... total service can be sanctioned with two incentives.
Moreover, it is ordered that this Incentive Increment
can be sanctioned from 18.01.2013.”
18.Undoubtedly, the Government
regular increment due to a person is
withheld by way of punishment the advance increment admissible should be
given only after the regular increment ... advance
increments. In view of this Government directs that Thiru.V.Asirvatham who
has already got four advance increments under the scheme of incentive
increments
Grade Teacher, it was stated that such Teacher could not claim incentive increment for their Graduation and B.Ed., qualification.
3.In this case ... appointed on contract basis. For acquiring M.Ed., she was granted incentive increment on 04.06.1990. Likewise, she acquired M.A., degree for which
advance increments i.e., in all, four increments only. As the first respondent had already availed the benefit of two incentive increments ... further advance incentive increments, as he is entitled to only two advance increments for M.A. Degree and two more advance increments
academic year and therefore, they are not eligible for any incentives. However,
incentive increments were given to them on misrepresentation.

22.In fact, the Government has now realized that the incentive increments
provided to the Teachers have
same and consequently directing the
respondents to continue to pay the incentive increment to the petitioner for
acquiring B.Ed., degree with revision scale ... petitioner further submits
that the petitioner was also granted incentive increments for having acquiring
B.Ed as per G.O.Ms.No.42, Education Department

case of the petitioners that they were given incentive increment for
acquiring higher qualifications namely M.A and B.Ed., Degree, by proceedings

Education, to get the incentive increment.
2.Though, the entitlement of the petitioners were clarified by
the Director
incentive increment (two advance increments) with effect from 29.09.1991 for acquiring B.Ed., qualification. He was also allowed one more incentive increment (two advance increments ... also got another incentive for the higher qualification of M.Ed from 1.6.94.
The Junior Thiru.K.Elumalai had got incentive increment for the higher
