494. Marrying again during lifetime of husband or wife.—
Whoever, having a husband or wife living, marries
allowed.

HEADNOTE:
Appellant No. 1 was convicted of an offence under s. 494
I.P.C . (and appellant No. 2 of abetting him) for going
alleging that he has committed an
offence under S. 494 of the Indian Penal Code. Briefly
her case was as follows :
