(i) in relation to a literary, dramatic, musical or artistic

on any media by any means will be an infringed copy and sub-section
(2) clause (b) of Sec.52A also provides that
trade exhibits in public, or
(iv) imports into India,
any infringing copies of the work:
Provided that nothing in sub-clause (iv) shall apply ... hire, or displays or offers for sale or hire
any infringed copies of the work, the offence would be
attracted. Here the allegation against
articles including equipments purported to have been used for making the infringed copies of records. They are kept in police custody itself as directed ... amended in 1984 reads:
