ground to commit suicide. Without there being any intention to push the deceased to commit suicide, the offence under Section 306 IPC against the applicant ... life by committing suicide. If it appears to the Court that a victim committing suicide was hypersensitive to ordinary petulance, discord and difference in domestic
instigation was conspicuously absent; there was nothing in the suicide-note, which would lead to a reasonable apprehension of instigating the deceased to commit suicide ... have committed any wilful act or omission or intentionally aided or instigated the deceased Pranab Kumar Nag in committing the act of suicide. There
hereunder:-
"306. Abetment of suicide.--If any
person commits suicide, whoever abets the
commission of such suicide, shall be punished
with imprisonment of either ... appellants instigated the deceased
Paramjeet Kaur to commit suicide and thereby made
abetment of suicide. The word instigation has been
interpreted in various judgements, some
reads as under:
"Abetment of suicide.--If any person commits
suicide, whoever abets the commission of such suicide,
shall be punished with imprisonment ... goad the deceased to
commit suicide and further, that the deceased was left with no other
option but to commit suicide.
(14) In the matter

committed suicide after his being compelled to take voluntary retirement

Court that a victim committing suicide was hypersensitive to ordinary
petulance, discord and difference in domestic ... suicide-note suggesting abetment to commit suicide. There is
nothing in the suicide note which can be said to be proximate reason to commit
suicide
