1.Leave granted
that the ratio of the judgment of the Apex Court in M.G. Badappanavar 's case (supra) and Ajit Singh II (supra ... specifically drew our attention to para (14) of the judgment in M.G. Badappanavar 's case (supra) and contended that in the organization
same position was further reiterated by this Court in M.G.
Badappanavar v. State of Karnataka in the following terms:
"12. There ... sufficiently been explained in Ajit Singh (II) and reiterated in M.G.
Badappanavar.
16. However, we may notice that in the decisions cited above, this
concluding, we may refer to the judgment of this Court in M.G. Badappanavar. In that case the facts were as follows. Appellants were general ... violative of Articles 14 and 16. It was further held in M.G. Badappanavar that equality is the basic feature of the Constitution
