underlying tissues.
The Medical Officer apart from other observations,
found that maggots of size varying from 0.5-1.0 cm were crawling all
over the body
deceased. Decomposition had begun and the skin was peeling off and maggots were present. The eyes and mouth were open and the tongue was protruding ... there was decomposition of the body and skin had peeled off and maggots were present. Estimate of time of death is clearly only opinion evidence
