requisite marks and that of having
cleared the requisite eligibility tests (NET/SLET); and denial of
their candidature only on the ground of not possessing ... candidate has
cleared the eligibility tests for lecturership, i.e., NET/SLET,
imposing of any other condition, especially the present one, of
possessing second division
exempted from the
requirement of the minimum eligibility condition
of NET/SLET/SET for recruitment and
appointment of Assistant Professor or equivalent
positions in Universities ... Colleges/Institutions.
iv. NET/SLET/SET shall also not be required for
such Masters Programmes in disciplines for
which NET/SLET/SET is not conducted
made by University Grants Commission,
for which the NET/SLET, and not Ph.D. is to be the minimum
eligibility criteria for recruitment and appointments ... having
qualifications of NET, had applied and on which, the respondent

submits that for
the post of Lecturer minimum required qualification is
NET/ SLET where the matter is prepared category wise
and if a candidate ... cleared NET/ SLET as an OBC,
he or she cannot be treated in unreserved category
and on coming selections for the post, such candidates
ought
obtained minimum 50% marks in
graduation, he has not passed NET/SLET/SET and as he does not
hold Ph.D. degree in terms ... terms of the Regulations,
2009 or having cleared NET/SLET/SET examination. Admittedly,
the petitioner neither has the qualification of Ph.D. under
Regulations
apply for the selections. They did not
possess the qualification of NET/SLET/SET and were not eligible
to appear in the interview in view ... than two years,
whether they possessed or did not possess the NET/SLET/SET
qualifications, prescribed by the Regulations of 2009.
It is submitted that
corrigendum. The
petitioners are having qualification of Ph.D., M.Phil, SLET,
NET, JRF etc. A written test was to be conducted as
mentioned
Professor in University/ Colleges/ Institutions is that an incumbent
must have NET/SLET/SET and only exception to that is having Ph.D
degree
