"The Rajasthan Prisoners Release on Parole
Rules, 1958
(d) "Parole" means conditional inlargement of a
prisoners from the jail.
9. Parole ... parole and for 40
days on third parole provided his behaviour has
been good during the second parole. If during
the third parole also
thereby, he becomes
disentitled to parole, as one of the conditions qua grant of parole, thus is good
behaviour hence even in custody, and, that ... released on parole.
"Thus, a convict, who does not maintain jail discipline, is not entitled
to parole as one of the conditions of grant
position that parole
cannot be considered as remission. Parole has been defined under Delhi
Prison Rules, 2018, as below:
"1198. Parole means temporary release ... outside the Jail on parole."
Furthermore, the conditions for granting parole have also been enumerated
in the following rules, as below:
"1208. Subject
have not availed parole or special parole
till date and who have now applied for parole or will apply for
special parole, then, the District ... Special Parole on the
basis of their medical reports.
(c) The convicts who have violated the Parole or special
parole conditions and have been
down the differences between parole and
furlough, few of which are as under:
(i) Both parole and furlough are conditional
release.

(ii) Parole ... parole period. In case the petitioner breaches
any of the conditions of parole order or
creates any law and order problem, then the
respondents

of parole and also not threaten the witnesses in
relation to the cases pending against him.

petitioner seeks a directive for the release of his

result in cancellation of parole

parole without any record of violating the conditions of parole.
4. Given these circumstances, the petitioner has
established a prima facie case ... period of
