The prisoner has sought parole leave for the purpose of
preferring an appeal against the order of conviction ... applied for parole leave with the competent authority under
the Prisons (Bombay Furlough and Parole) Rules, 1959, i.e.
District Magistrate, Surat, for the purpose
view of Rule 4(2) of the Prisons (Bombay
Furlough and Parole) Rules, 1959 which lays down that
prisoners convicted for offences under Sections ... created by Rule 4(2) of the Prisons (Bombay Furlough
and Parole) Rules. We find that the impugned orders are

the petitioner in accordance with the Rajasthan Prisoners Release
on Parole Rules, 1958.
