"furlough system means the system of releasing prisoners ... loss of privileges admissible under the

Undisputedly, in the case in hand, on account of overstay by
the petitioner

punishment for breach of conditions when furlough or parole
is granted. Clause (3) thereof provides that if any prisoner

applications for parole and furlough were rejected, hence, it
was contended that it was a case ... loss of privileges admissible under the remission or furlough

Section 2(1)(p) of the Act (ibid) defines ' Parole system ... follows:
"(p) 'Parole system' means the system of releasing
prisoners from prison on parole by suspension of their
sentence in accordance with

to implement the system wherein the prisoners granted parole or
