outfalls into the River Cooum from Paruthipattu to its mouth and
identified 81 numbers of additional outfalls carrying sewage, of which

the restoration activities are being undertaken only from
Paruthipattu to river mouth and informed the Municipality to
adhere to the discharging
canal to Vilinjiyambakkam and the surplus water
from this lake goes to Paruthipattu Lake and these lakes
are linked and rain water is stored. However
