petitioner/accused, the deceased died by committing suicide by self
strangulation. One month prior to the incident, the deceased informed

day, while she went to shop, the deceased self strangulated and died.
In her cross-examination, PW.3 admitted that after the tenth
there cannot be any other view. The possibility of self-
strangulation is improbable and it is also not the case of
the accused. Further, accused
case of suspected strangulation and the
case of self-strangulation is ruled out. If that is so, what it is necessity for
the Investigating Officer

4. Learned counsel for the applicants would submit that there were

The Court is, therefore, not inclined
defence is that the
death of the deceased was not due to strangulation, it was due
to hanging. PW.19 has not been cross-examined ... that the death by asphyxia can occur even by self-
hanging not only by strangulation. He has stated that a careful
perusal of the post
living with her
father due to which, he lost his self control and committed the
murder.
39. On careful perusal of the voluntary statement ... said fact and lost self
control and in a fit of anger committed the homicidal death of the
deceased by strangulating her which is nothing
have
strangulated his wife Smt. Nasrinbano after verbal altercations and in the fit
of rage whilst deprived of the power of self control ... Nasrinbano in the late night of 20 th June, 2014 by strangulation with
the help of cotton string (suti dori / sutali). She submitted that
that
usually hesitation cuts indicated self infliction.

15. The prosecution case is that death was due
to strangulation. Now if the evidence ... possible to accept the prosecution case that death
occurred due to strangulation. If reference is made to
textbook on Medical Jurisprudence by Dr.Modi (24th
cause of death is due to asphyxia as
a result of strangulation per injury No.6 which was fresh & ante-mortem at
the time ... self-inflicted injury and the death in this case was
due to asphyxia as a result of strangulation.
