further pleaded that he was only a sleeping partner and that all dealings
were handled by Late Mr. Sanjeev Kumar.
3.4. The accused ... sleeping partner" denotes a partner who remains in the background of the
business operations. Such a partner's involvement is ordinarily limited
defendant no.2 is the sleeping partner of the firm and that no
specific liability accrues against her as sleeping partner is not liable ... Liability of a partner for acts of the firm.- Every partner
is liable , jointly with all the other partners and also severally,
for all acts
written statement, husband of plaintiff had become
a sleeping partner in business of the defendant and
had invested some amount on profit and loss basis ... business purpose. She denied the
suggestion that her husband was sleeping partner with
the defendant. It was further denied that they had not
given
business and also informed the revisionist that
she will become sleeping partner and need to invest money only
and respondents will be responsible and liable ... namely M/s P.D. Enterprises and made the
revisionist as sleeping partner and started "Triple 333 Lounge
Bar Restaurant" (a unit

said partnership business, has however

partnership deed itself which mentions here as a Sleeping
Partner. Thus, it is clear that she has no requirement, much less
cousin brother (tauji ka ladka) and his mother is
sleeping partner in the partnership firm of the accused. It is corectly
admitted that he does ... look accounts of the
partnership firm as his mother was the sleeping partner. He was also
involved in day to day business of the firm
plaintiff namely Sh. Rajmal Sharma had all along been a sleeping partner. He
died on 31.12.2007 and thereafter another partnership deed was executed ... that is, 01.05.2009 to 30.04.2022
and the plaintiff was also a sleeping partner in that partnership.
(7) It is further the case of the defendant
issue during the Notice
framing stage that she is a sleeping partner in accused no.4 and thereby she has
no idea of the transaction ... onus of proving the fact that she is a sleeping partner and
unconnected with the affairs of the accused no.4 is upon accused
both Sh. Vinod Kumar Bansal and Sh.
Pradeep Gupta were the sleeping partners and shall be entitled to
receive ... said firm.
5. That the second party shall be sleeping partner, who shall be entitled to receive a sum
of Rs. 14,000/- (Rs. fourteen
entire business of the firm and Inderjeet Singh was
the sleeping partner and had no involvement with the working of the firm. He
further deposed ... accused has also
taken the defence that accused was a sleeping partner I.e he never participated in
day to day affairs of the company
