2 Since the petitions are founded on the two articles published ... profile cases in the country, involving the allegedly
staged encounter killing of Sohrabuddin Sheikh in 2005. The prime
accused in the case was Amit Shah
2010/0004 (Criminal Case No.5 of 2010) (“the Sohrabuddin case”), who
until his arrest in the case was the minister of State for Home ... Gujarat. In the transfer petition, a prayer is made to transfer
the Sohrabuddin case outside the State of Gujarat for trial. Both the
appeal
formed at
Udaipur, Rajasthan to investigate into various offences
registered against one Sohrabuddin. As per the above FIR,
said Sohrabuddin, son of Ahwaruddin Shaikh, resident ... above FIR it was stated that the
above accused (Sohrabuddin) was acting at the behest of ISI to
spread terror and to disturb the unity
